  1. Not sure why but my journey with liquids was much easier thanthe idea of purees. I have found myself very gassy and with a tight chest. I think I have gained weight too which is so disheartening. Just rambling I guess; feeling pretty down, discouraged, unmotivated and gassy. What did you guys eat during this stage? I received a sheet but its all so boring. Averiex
  2. Ps Gas-ex. Definitely need chewable gas-ex.
  3. I had a lot of trouble peeing. Even with the IV fluids in me I didnt pee for close to 14 hours. Had to go, felt the urge, it wouldn't come out. The morphine and anesthesia slow down your organs, it took me 4-5 days to pee easily again.
  4. No, I havent. I haven't been drinking as much milk lately either. Could this be it?
  5. So, I had surgery May 8th. All went fine, I have lost 15 lbs total pre/post op. I was able to sleep the first week, but starting week two anytime I try to lay down and rest my legs get that need-to-kick anxious tingly crawling out of skin feeling. I am lacking sleep from it. I am not anxious, depressed or stressed and I do relaxing techniques such as baths, reading, soft noises. Help!!
  6. I was disgusted but also a little bit jealous watching Tony!
  7. I did and he is the best! Such a nice man
  8. I love sugar, so much so that work friends contemplate just buying me a container of frosting. The detox is horrible. I was sick as a dog when I did the preop, had the sweats and nausea from lack of sweets just like an addict. Just think about how icecream and candy makes your body react. It is truly a bully. Stay strong!! Some posters gave great suggestions.
  9. So needless to say I finally went potty this morning after 6 days of nothing. Then went again.. And again.. And again!! Think the laxative was too much. Can vouch that it works, though!
  10. I tried a natural vegetable based laxative the night before, gas x and some walking. V8 splash too helped me go. I had surgery May 8 and just pooped this morning so it takes awhile
  11. I am on the Post-op two week full liquid diet. I sip slowly and stick to what I can have, usually opting for a high Protein drink. I get hunger pangs at all hours of the night and day! Is it because I am sipping slowly? My drink has 16g of protein. Av
