  1. I was sleeved on 8/20 and was discharged from the hospital on 8/22. The worst part for me of the whole procedure has been the gas pain. Sleeping in the hospital was hard for me because everyone kept checking on me! (Good, I know, but annoying at 4 am).
  2. Hi! I'm 6 days post-op. I want NOTHING to do with liquid unless it's really cold. She could also try chewing some tiny/crushed ice cubes. I had horrible gas pain which made drinking tough for the first 48 hours. Walking and chewable Gas-X seemed to help. Best of luck to both of you.
  3. Hello! I had my gallbladder out 4 years ago - completely unrelated to weight loss surgery as I haven't had it yet. While sounding scary, the laparoscopic gallbladder removal is not bad. I was up and about the next day, just with a sore tummy. I have four tiny scars and had no complications. The only negative thing I can think of is that my body doesn't process grease as well as it did before. You've got this!!!!!
  4. I'm new too! I should be getting my sleeve in August!!!!! I'm currently going through all of the doctor's appointments, bloodwork, etc.
  5. Hello! I've been reading this site for a couple of months. I started my 90 days of the physician monitored weight loss yesterday. If all goes according to plan, I should be sleeved in mid-August. I'm so nervous yet excited at the same time!!!! I'm very excited to meet everyone who is going through what I am and/or has done it before. It's very comforting.
  6. Yay!!! I will be sleeving around the same time!!!!
