THe main reason I am going to Mexico is because it is $15000 to get it done here locally. When I can get airfare,hotel and a trip away from home for about $8000. That did it for me.$$$$$$$$$$$:whoo:

I guess I am the only one here with all the vices(coffee and cigarettes). Whats the scoop on these. One minute I here coffee is good for you , the next minute its not. Then green tea was all the rage , but doesnt tea have more caffiene than coffee? What gives? Anybody have any personal experiences with either ? Any recommendations? Do's? Whats the deal with diet drinks? My doctors asst sent me a bunch of info when I signed up. Some of it had to deal with how diet drinks and artificial sweeteners making a person eat more. Anybody know any thng about that? One sweetener worse for you than others. Slmost every post about food on here says Splenda. Whats the big deal with Splenda? I have not given up on sex, but I have found that I don't enjoy it as much now as I did when I was smaller. There's the whole huffing and puffing thing because I am so big. And All the positions just don't work the same as they used to. And what skinny girl wants to have sex with a 300 lb guy? Two fat people doing it just aint pretty. :kiss2:So I think I will just hold out till I lose A FEW pounds.

<p>Does anyone here smoke cigarettes? Has their doctor advised them to quit prior to surgery? I have been told that I will heal faster and apparently better if Iquit smoking prior to surgery. I don't know if I can given the fact that I am so stresed out about having the surgery in the first place. Then compound that with starving myself two weeks prior to surgery. Seem like a bit much. I guess if nothing changes nothing changes. I am going to give it a shot and quit smoking the day I start my pre-oop diet. Wish me luck. Hope fully I wont get too stressed out. Ihave already chewed all my fingernails off since the day I scheduled my surgery. As you can see from the tome of my post, Im up late. I have a real big problem with eating late at night. I CAN NOT go to sleep on a empty stomach. Anyone else have that problem. And do you think that will be a problem after we gewt banded?:ranger:

Anyone of the October Bandsters getting thier surgery done in Mexico? If so which doctor. I am scheduled for October 25th with Dr. Jose Rodriguez. Very nervous about the whole Mexico thing , but I cant argue with the $7000 difference in price. I would like to hear from anyone going to Mexico in the Month of October.:sick

Hello Everybody! I am having mine done on October 26th and I am already having anxiety attacks about starving to death lol. I have never tried to go with out food before. I have never really took dieting serious. I go on a diet for 2 weeks lose 10 punds and put 15 back on. I am both nervous and excited about a permanent soluttion to a lifetime problem. Oh yeah and then to quit smoking? OMG:eek:
