  2. Hey Nonna Good luck to you too
  3. Hi LeeBee, Im having my surgery August 25th. I have decided on the sleeve. I liked that it was a restrictive procedure and from what I have read less complications than being banded. Im currently easing myself in with a low Carb diet and jusf getting myself used to eating three healthy low carb meals a day ( 3 meals has always been my biggest challenge) Good luck on your decision. Keep in touch id love to hear how its going.
  4. Hey everyone. Thank you so much for all the informative posts. Without them I could never have made the decision to book my surgery and pick my surgeon with confidence at OCC. Which I am excited to say is Monday August 25th. I got instructions from Lucia today on pre op weight goal recommendations so I'm going to start right away and try to ease my way towards it and get into the protein frame of mind. Let me tell you the one thing that gives me incentive is that in 4 months I will be given a tool to help me maintain any efforts that i put in now. That is really something to look forward to. Anyhow thanks everyone, i look forward to getting to know you.
  5. Hello All I'm Michelle ( my family calls me Micky). This is my first post. I just wanted to say Hiiiiiii. My surgery date is set for August 25 @ OCC and I'm so excited. A big decision but I am so ready to change my life style. The nutritionist tells me I need to aim for a total loss of 26lbs before surgery (found that out this morning) so its a good thing I started my day with a Protein shake LOL Anyhow I just wanted to say hi. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we embark on this journey together,
