  1. I'm doing my 2 weeks pre-op, which is supposed to be fat free, sugar free. No creamy soups allowed.
  2. I am on day 2 of doing my 2 week pre-op fasting - 5 slim fasts per day, chicken/beef broth, sugar free ice pops and Jello, diet/caffiene free soda and iced tea, Water, decaf coffee. I am shaky from head to toe, I'm not starving, just a little hungry, and very shaky. I have a slight headache and I am extremely lethargic. Did anyone else feel this way? :cry
  3. I am scheduled for my lap band surgery on October 1. I started my liquid diet today, I AM HUNGRY!!!! I've been running back and forth to the bathroom all day - I'm gonna lose at least 10 pounds from all the running!!! Dr. Christine Ren is doing my surgery. I absolutely loved her when I met her. Such a warm, caring and compassionate woman!!
  4. Hi, I'm new to these boards. I'm scheduled for October 1st with Dr. Ren. I started my liquids today. I know it's only day 1 for me, but boy is this hard!! I've had 3 slim fast shakes, 1 small salad with fat free dressing, 2 cups of coffee, 1/2 of a 20 oz. diet pepsi, and 1 cup of chicken broth. I'm trying hard to be good, but I really want to eat solid food!! Good luck on your surgery!!
