I like the protein powder better then anything. I'm not a fan of the premier protein but I can choke down the chocolate if I put it over ice the vanilla is awful. I like the powders because you can add stuff to them I found a website with recipes for shakes after surgery. Strawberry whey and sf ff dry cheesecake pudding mix is great also choc with sf ff choc pudding mix is great makes them creamier and taste a lot better.
Liquid diet post op only for a week until the follow up appointment I can barely choke down the broth. I'm doing OK with the shakes if you add some sf ff pudding to them they are creamier.
Very nervous as well feels like a dream after all these tests and waiting. I work up until the day before surgery I'm sure I'll be a crank pants at work o ly being able to drink Sunday. Ugh goo luck yall.

@ 30 something may 5 here as well I have been steaming veggies left and right and eating pudding and jello and shakes. I'm also lactose intolerant I'm making my shakes w lactose free skim milk the choc may upset your stomach the strawberry has been fine for me. Now the premier protein hurts my stomach more then anything. Glad to take this journey with you.
It's getting a little better as night falls snacking tonight will be hard not to do since I don't go to bed until late. Day one is about complete. I also read a website how to change shake flavors and such by adding sf ff pudding mix about a table spoon per scoop of protein. The choc. W choc. Pudding mix is great you can also add the dehydrated pb2 peanut butter not sure about before surgery though. And lastly I made a strawberry shake w sf ff cheesecake pudding mix it was great. We're all in this together.
