  1. Thanks everyone! I saw my Doctor today and she assured me it was completely normal. She told me to keep up the protein intake and to also start taking zinc, vitamin e and biotin.
  2.    Jeannette Anndaisia reacted to a post in a topic: HAIR!
  3. Had my sleeve done April 21st this year. In the last month I've lost so much hair! I'm doing about 60-75grams of protein a day and taking biotin! Anyone else having this problem or know of something else I can do to prevent anymore hair loss! The way it's falling out I'll be bald in a month!
  4. I'm feeling pretty good now. Having trouble getting all my protein in how are you doing after your surgery?
  5. I had my surgery 4/21 and as of today I've lost 19lbs since then. I thought I would have lost more doing the liquids but average about a pound a day. The first week I felt a lot if discomfort when sipping. It's 100% better now. Just take it slow! You can do this!
  6. I'm feeling pretty good now. At first I couldn't stop burping after taking a sip of something and I wasn't getting much down. Then I started to get really dizzy to last 2 days. Yesterday I was able to drink a few protein shakes and have some soup so I'm feeling a lot better. I have to return to work on Thursday how about you?
  7. Thanks I will try standing up when drinking and maybe more walking around while trying to get my fluids down.
  8. My vision was blurry also after my surgery. After removing the patch behind my ear it went away. It was very weird!
  9. Anyone in the Gainesville area? I just had my surgery 4/21/14!
  10. I had my surgery done this past Monday and everything went extremely well. I have not be able to get the full amount of liquids down yet. Every time i take a small sip I burp and sometimes it's a bit painful. I'm concerned that I'm not getting enough fluids at this point and really don't want to get dehydrated! Does anyone have any tips or suggests as to what I can do to get more fluids ? Thanks!
