hello, I think they are trying to fast track or speed up the lengthy time. I had my phone appt. cancelled and she said its not longer needed and just sent me the packet and started me on all the preop tests and sced me for the first class needed in sept. She said we can communicate via email if I had anymore questions. Im hoping to have surgery by the end of the year..so that will just shy a year for me too. A year is a long time!! Sorry Dylan..and I can so relate to everything u are going through trying to get shoes etc all of it!! I went to an Mariners game yesterday and oh my all the walking ughhh I felt bad holding back my hubby and daughter!! I so readddyyy!! Xoxoox ~~ Ang

I have an appointment next friday for the pulmonary function test and my phone consult appointment with julie is june 12th (I thought it was weird to get a call for the pulmonary since I haven't had that first appointment with julie?) So im in the very beginning process. Crossing fingers itll be somewhat speedy...I couldnt handle it taking over a year wow!! Have you told anyone yet?? Ive told just my hubby, bestie and my mom..I dont think I want to tell anyone?? Esp the inlaws..I just dont want the Neg. ~~ Ang

Yikes Dylan those dates are really far out!! Im prb looking at surgery pretty far out then...maybe in winter time?!? Heres to time going by fast! or earlier dates opening up for us!! xoxoox ~~ Ang

Hello, Thanks for the reply! its awesome to have found someone so close by with the same dr. and same insurance!! Ive read online what group healths process is but it seems pretty bare. I just need to relax and let the whole process happen. I did have someone from gh call to sced a pulamary test I thought that was strange as i haven had my appt with Julie Yet. ~~ Ang

Hello, I also have Group Health and im in the very beginning process, my dr sent a referral which was approved and I have an appt with Julie for a 1/2 hour phone appt. June 12!! Im thinking this is going to be a long process?? Not sure what the steps are with group health, how long have you gals been in the process? I was really hopeing to have surgery June or July? Im a ferry ride over from seattle. So Glad to have found others with the same dr. and same insurance!! TIA~~Ang
