Hello to all,
This is my first time to use this forum though I have been reading others progress for several months. I was sleeved April 8,2014 and the information and support available through this site has been very helpful already. A little about me. I am a retired RN and decided the sleeve could be the answer to my life time battle with weight gain. My blood pressure and cholesterol are both high requiring medication. I have borderline diabetes and both of my knees have taken a terrible beating from carrying the excess weight around. I began my journey at 228 lbs. I lost 8lbs. during the 2 weeks before surgery on the liquid protein diet. 2 weeks post op. I had lost 9 lbs. more. Today my new total weight loss is a total of 25 lbs. So thankful for this chance at a new healthier, happier and more active life. I plan to give this my all, best try for success!
