  1. Hello all! Mysurgery is scheduled for May 3rd in Tijuana with Dr Valenzuela at Hospital Mi Doctor. She only required me to do a 7 day pre op diet but none the less I am currently climbing the walls. I never imagined how hard this would be. Lol. But it will all be worth it!!! Good luck to you all!!!!
  2. I cant offer any sound advice to people during their pre op diet, but I wanted to drop a line to everyone who is currently on their pre op diet to say "I FEEL YOUR PAIN!" I always thought I would have enough will to do this damn liquid diet, but baby I am here to tell ya this is soooo hard! I am only on day 2 and I feel like climbing the walls. I have a family that I have to cook for everyday and I swear it takes everything in me not to give in (AND AGAIN THIS IS ONLY DAY 2). I pray it gets easier! I want everyone to know I am pulling for you and sending you best wishes!
  3. I am also finding it difficult to let people know about my surgery. My surgery date is May 3 and I havent told anyone except my hubby and my mom. Granted I know eventually everyone will find out because my mother couldn't keep her mouth shut even if her life depended on it (lol) but just dont want to deal with all of the judgmental criticism until the surgery is over and done with. In the past when I have mentioned vsg to friends and family their reply is always the same "just work out and watch what you eat", which I find hilarious because I have been doing that for years. Loose gain loose gain ect... all the while being miserable. Either I was miserable because I felt like I was starving or I was miserable because I was eating and felt guilty over it. I cant wait to have this done!! I am so excited and I really cant deal with anyone stealing my joy, so Im not telling anyone. (yet)
  4. Unfortunately I will be traveling alone. But I am also confident in my decision, and I believe everything will go as planned.
  5. Hi James. I will be at the Marriott in TJ too. Arriving on May 2nd, Surgery on the 3rd, 4th still at hospital (Mi Doctor), the 5th and 6th at the Marriott again and leaving the morning of the 7th. My surgeon is Dr Valenzuela. I went through Medical Bariatric Center. I am getting vsg done, what surgery are you getting? I look forward to meeting you!!!
