  4. Hello, I'm five weeks post op and my Dr has given me the go ahead to eat solid foods hoping that my protein intake will improve. I have tried 15 different types of protein shakes and supplements and they all make me sick. I gag on them. :-( So now that I am able to eat solids I ate a little bit of chicken earlier and it was ok. I can only eat 3 to 4 bites then I am full. I need help. Some ideas on protein rich foods that have been tolerated by others post op. Oh, and I should mention, I'm allergic to eggs. Any help would be appreciated.
