  1. Very interesting I was wondering if they do this for CHF patients. I will have to tell my friend about your case. She finally lost enough weigh on her own to have knee surgery so that she is more mobile to hopefully continue lower her wait. She dropped like 60 . Well definitely keep you in prayers for great surgery outcome . I have had a few road blocks but look forward to hopefully getting apprloved by my rheumatologist in feb so I can have surgery in March. My pcp has cleared me from his standpoint. Best wishes
  2. Appreciate your input was very real & helpful
  3. Sleevers how much time did the surgeon recommend you remain off work
  4. I have bcbs originally told in Nov nothing was required preop but in Dec I was informed I had to do a 3month diet (new requirement). I also had to provide documentation of previous diet attempts, exercise programs, primary doctor recommendation letter and a statement that you have not smoked for 6mos or substance abuse for 1year. Unfortunately, I saw primary timely mid March but at time of my consultation the documentation had yet to arrive. Slight set back but I just plan to continue calling until it is submitted to avoid further delay in the insurance review process. My goal is to have surgery late May.
