  1. i had my surgery 18 months ago and i have lost 23 lbs. i am unable to exercise much. i know that i would lose faster if i could exercise, but the weight is never coming back and for that i am grateful.
  2. my lap band was done 4/07, in 10/07 my port was replaced. it had been puctured by the doctor during a fill. i have lost a total of 12 pounds! when i called his office in december, to set up an appointment for a fill, i was told that the earliest he could see me was in january - the 24th to be exact. well, ok i know he's a busy man, but i've just been getting madder and madder at myself for waiting for him! i had this surgery so i could feel full and stop eating - that hasn't happened yet!.
  3. my surgery was in april, i just had my second fill. i've only lost 10 lbs and have felt no restriction at all yet. i did pb once, 'cause i ate too fast. it just will take time, you will be ok! you didn't gain it quickly, so it will take time. keep a good spirit.
