  1. Gas x has become a regular everyday thing for me. I pass gass all day long or else I'm in serious pain. My husband is not too happy about it
  2. Happy Memorial Day to my fellow May Sleevers. Hope everyone is feeling good and enjoying the weekend. Wondering how everyone is dealing with the holiday and all that BBQ? Yesterday I chewed and spit a bit of pickle but a seed accidentally got down and gave me pain for 10 minutes. Do not try this. Lick something instead. I'm getting alittle stir crazy not chewing. Anyone else? Plus sick of all the sweet stuff.
  3. Anyone else ready to eat anything? I'm so sick of all this sweet stuff, I'm going to lick a slice of pizza tonight! How about chew and spit, anyone try that yet?
  4. I finally had a BM on the 7th day. But very little, you have to realize you haven't really eaten anything other than Fluid. It takes time and unless you feel constipated you probably just aren't ready. Skip the laxatives. Good luck and happy pooping!
  5. Needed some retail therapy desperately. First off, I went with caution about buying clothes that wouldn't fit for long but...when I tried on a size 14 and it fit I decide to treat myself to a few items. Best feeling so far!
  6. Just had a Yasso coconut Greek yogurt ice cream bar. 8 grams protein! What a treat,
  7. Nolagirl- I had the same terrible chest pain with lightheadedness. Saw the DR yesterday and here told me to use the breathing thingy (don't remember what it's called) every two hours. It's a mucus clot that gets stuck and can eventual cause pneumonia if you don't clear it. I did what here said and within the first hour I felt better, it did come back over night, so keep breathing! Good luck! Keep us posted.
  8. Also want to mention, unjury chicken broth, 20protien and 8oz water. Tastes like Lipton. You ca do it girls you just need the tools and the willpower! Keep me posted.
  9. Hi there, I got sleeved on May 14th too. I am the biggest advocate of the isopure grape. It is alittle sweet, so I fill a glass with 8 oz of ice cubes (= water) and sip throughout the day. After 3 glasses I've gotten 40 protein and 40/50 oz water. My DR was amazed at my recovery and ability to get all my water and protein. Each day gets a little easier.
  10. Holla! Got my shake down before 9am with 30 protein under my belt, gonna be a better day. Starting stage 2 today, kind of scary.
  11. Update on chest pains and suggestions if anyone else is having the same problem. DR said its mucus that gets caught, causes lightheaded ness, to solve use breathing thingy every two hours. Worked like a charm, although it does come back overnight. This and inactivity cause pneumonia. So keep breathing Sleevers!
  12. Get yourself some isopure, you'll get protein and fluid intake at the same time. Very easy to sip on ice. Try gnc.
  13. 7 Days out and I still wake up with sharp pains in my chest. I know it must be gas, but so uncomfortable. How long before this disappears?
  14. Lol! It must have been so good though!
  15. MB- congrats and keep up the walking, it definitely helps. Dry mouth is the worst! My tongue felt like a lizard skin! Ice chips. Gets better everyday!
  16. 7 days post op today and seeing DR this afternoon. Been terrified to look in my belly button. All other incisions look minimal but I haven't removed the surgical tape.getting all proteins in,a little short on water though. Still gassy
  17. I'm about to chew and spit a Dorito!
  18. 6 days post op and my incisions are so itchy! Is this normal? Anyone else having this problem?
  19. I'm definitely no pro but I see a lot of people having a tough time and I'm only 5 days out but these things seem to be working for me. Of course seeing some movement on the scale helps a lot. First thing in the morning I make a cup of coffee, pour a small amount into an espresso cup with an ice cube and dash of skim milk. Mmmm, so good. Walk and use the breathing thingy. I wasn't using it and got a fever in the hospital. Meds with applesauce omiprazole Pour premier shake into tiny coffee cup and sip throughout the morning. 30 protein. Walk and breathing again Isopure 40 protein poured over ice, sip throughout day. Ice helps the taste and gets the water in. Sf ice pops as a treat good for water. Walk again Un jury chic broth sip warm 21 protein Each day I feel better. Slept a full 12 hours last night. Ready to attempt a shower today. Hope this helps some of you struggling. Just think it can only get better and were on the other side of this now. Keep me posted.
  20. Try the isolate grape flavor. It tastes like gateraid and helps with the nauseous feeling.
  21. Determined to feel great tomorrow. Planning on a shower first thing. Isopure grape is a lifesaver!
  22. No nausea for me and I used the gas x. It helped the gas pain an awful lot. Day three very little gas pains. Finally.
  23. My first reaction was what the heck did I do??? But today I walked in my yard, did 5 minutes of work drank isopure grape ( not bad) and no pain meds. Gas x definitely helped.
  24. Oh boy, had my surgery 3 days ago and I feel horrible.left side pain, headaches, gas and just discomfort . I hope this gets better quickly. I feel like I've made a terrible mistake.
