  1. I was allowed to drink coffee while I was in the hospital. Of course fat free milk and sugar substitute.
  2. I'm only 5ft, so remember it's what you put into this weight loss surgery. It's a tool to help you not a miracle.
  3. I'm 8 months postop and I was 210 and now 108. I have lost 102 pounds. I believe it's what you put into this weight loss. I have cut out carbs and exercise at least 5 days a week. So, I wouldn't listen to just the 65%. Hope that helps. Jackie
  4. Hi everyone, I had my surgery on 7/9, took out my gallbladder and hernia repair. I feel good just sore and tired. I take a couple of naps during the day. I've been trying to get Protein shakes down but it's real slow. It takes about 2 hours to get one down. I'm eating sugar free Jello now and that seems easier to get down, plus I'm pretending to chew it. I don't feel hungry which is very strange. I'm 5 ft. Started before preop at weight 207, before surgery weight 190 and today 4 days preop I'm 180. I'm so excited for this journey and a new healthier me. I'm in LI and used Dr.Ahmad he's the most amazing doctor. Jackie
  5. Hi everyone, Had my surgery July 9th and came home yesterday. I can't believe I did it! I feel okay just tired and sore. Just got a protein shake down, it took 45 minutes. How is everybody else doing ? Jackie
  6. That's great!! I was wondering if anyone knows if the sleeve is better for younger adults ? I'm 40 and hope that I will have the same weight loss
  7. Hi! My surgery is July 9th. I'm 5 ft and 206 pounds. I chose the sleeve but thinking about switching to gastric bypass. Anybody have thoughts on that ?? I also would love to have someone to go through this journey with!!
  8. My doctor advised either of the procedures for me. I felt more comfortable with the sleeve.
  9. Hi Everyone, My surgery is July 9th! I'm nervous and hope I made the right decision of the sleeve and not gastric bypass. Any thoughts??
