  1. I am NOT banded YET, but have asked myself the same question during my research, "If I could stick to a diet, I would not be in this position, so why would this be any more successful than any other diet?" You have just helped answer that question. The more that I read on this site, the closer I get to taking the first steps towards Lap Band Surgery. You are all sooo right! If I am going to do this, I need to be ready to commit to it, and I think that I am closer today then I have ever been. Your honesty and positiveness is very motivating. I want to be on the other side, helping people as you do, with these same questions.:whoo:
  2. Hi! I am very seriously considering LapBand Surgery, and have been doing research for the past couple of months. The ONLY negative feedback that I have heard about LapBand, has been from Bypass patients, who have each told me of horrible experiences that they each had with Bypass, but as stated above, would go through it all again for the success they have achieved. My fear, is the fact that I eat for so many reasons other then being hungry. In fact, being hungry is rarely why I eat. Can someone enlighten me? What do you do when you are NOT hungry, but feeling stressed, bored, lonely, etc.?
