  1. I had a conversion from lap - band to sleeve gastrectomy on March 20. All went well until this week when I began having severe acid reflux. I have it 24/7 no matter what I eat. Even when drinking Water. I am so uncomfortable that it even hurts to take a deep breath like its really sore on the inside. If I even slightly bend over the acid comes up into my mouth. I am taking Prilosec once a day. I called my surgeon's office today and was told to increase Prilosec to twice a day and to make an appointment with my gastroenterologist. I couldn't get an appointment until April 14. My entire torso feels sore when walking around. I had gotten over that soreness after surgery but now I think it's due to this severe reflux. I had a hiatal hernia repair in 2011 and have not experienced acid reflux since then until now. Anyone had any similar problem?
