I know exactly how you feel! I can't wait to be able to buy clothes in regular sizes! I am going to take all of my plus size professional clothes to a consignment store once I get the weight off.
I have Blue Cross Blue Shield & they do not have the 6 month waiting & diet requirement. I was so happy when I heard that because last year I had United Healthcare & it was a requirement with them. Hopefully your doctor writing a letter will help. Good luck!
I am having my surgery on 5/1. Last week I had a procedure done to my back to burn the nerves in 3 of my disks to relieve my pain. I also had a steroid injection in my knee yesterday because it buckled while I was at the hospital doing my pre- op testing & I had a hard time walking to get all of my tests done. I am praying that once I start to lose weight it will alleviate my joint pain. Has anyone had success with this & how long did it take (or how many pounds) until you started to feel relief? I am 60 years old so I don't know if it will be harder for me to go through this process because of my age. I would love to hear feedback.
I was just wondering if anyone has experienced any hair loss. My surgeon told me it is very possible. I am just curious what to expect. A little bit of hair or a lot? Will I need to get a wig? How long until it grows back? My surgery is May 1 & I want to be ready.
Wow you look absolutely amazing!!!! You are an inspiration to me. I can't wait to start my journey. My surgery is May 1st. I know it won't be easy at first but just knowing that if I do as I am told, I will finally get the weight off. Thank you for pasting your pictures!
Hi, I am scheduled on 5/1. I am so excited & can't wait to get the process started. I have a lot of low back pain, knee pain & also hip pain. For the last few years I have taken so many steroid injections & one day I just made up my mind to just take the step to get the weight off. My doctor said it is the best decision I have ever made. Wish I would have done it sooner. Getting ready for Pre Op testing & more education classes. Good luck! I am anxious to see how it goes for you!
