  1. I have my preop with my surgeon today and it's less than 2 weeks til surgery. Did that keep me away from Girl Scout Cookies? No it did not. I have to say what makes me nervous is not the procedure itself but anticipating post op pain, post op feelings if deprivation and concerns that I won't be able to handle the post op diet. Anyone else feel like that? Also I'm obsessing on Vitamins. What brand, how many milligrams, what type.... I wish I could be like you guys and clean house with anxiety instead of getting stuck on details. -MB
  2. I agree with Ashl3y - it does feel like this is getting real. I'm May 19th but have my pre op appointments next week. I haven't made any big changes yet but I'm sure that will change after next week. I'm nervous and just starting to get a little scared. In definitely more emotional and crying more easily but it's a going to be worth it in the end. What really gets me is not knowing what to expect in terms of pain, mobility, and recovery afterwards because everyone on this app has reported such a wide range of experiences. Hope for the best and stay true is the way I'm going. MB ???? QUOTE="Ashl3yOh"]My surgery is May 12. Exactly two weeks away! Sh*ts getting real!! Lol. I start my 10 day liquid preop diet on the 2nd.
  3. The reason I don't tell is because I don't want other peoples opinions and judgements and recommendations and anxiety ! I have my own issues to deal with pre op. Agree or disagree?
  4. Did you have to stop all vitamins a week before surgery?
  5. How are you Gabby? Where was your surgery? What is making Recovery tougher than expected? MB
  6. Anyone out there? I'm scheduled for May 19th. Would love to talk MB
  7. Is the biotin to prevent hair loss?
  8. How is everyone preparing? Have you told your friends, family or coworkers. I have told very few people because I don't want anyone giving me added anxiety or reasons not to so it. The people I have told are supportive and that's enough for me. You guys?
  9. What preop Vitamin regimes is everyone on ? MB
  10. Diva I'm in Westchester ny. Not too far. I wasn't given a liquid diet or Vitamin regime pre op - other than Multivitamin and Vitamin D. Have preop appt w surgeon at start of May. Not sure if I'll hear something different then. I have gained weight since my initial appt. I'm nervous but mostly it seems surreal. How are you? MB
