Oh boy I'm so glad I came across this forum. My right arm swelled up so much in the hospital, it was so painful I had to keep it elevated. I only found relief on my walks around the nurse's station pushing my IV cart with my both of my arms lifted high in the air. They did an ultrasound on my last morning just to rule out a blood clot. Other than my arms swelling up and painful, my surgery went fantastic!

I had my first 1 week post surgery and now I'm just finishing up the meds for another about 6 mos. later. I'm attributing the two in the past 6 mos to poor hydration and stress. We all know it's more difficult to get in the Water after surgery and I am definitely going to make that a priority from here on out.
