  1. I was taking topamax before I was banded. They have a "sprinkle" pill that is a good option but the taste of it made me SO sick! I just ended up not taking it anymore after being on it for 3 years. I felt it was no longer effective and plus I couldn't handle the taste of the sprinkle. My dr acted like it was fine to take after being banded. If it isn't, I would also suggest verapamil. It worked well for me for awhile.
  2. I did the 24 day challenge about a year ago (before being banded). I personally think it's just one of those things for people to make money. I lost 7pounds and was sick the whole time. I wouldn't suggest it post op because they pills are HUGE! And a lot of them you can buy over the counter without paying the "advocare" cost.
  3. I'm pretty new here but I've been reading around for a couple months now. I have an appointment tomorrow, I will be 2 weeks post op. Just wondering if I will be getting a fill? I feel really no restriction and I would like to think I am very well healed. I never had any pain after surgery and now I feel starved! I am sure to get in all my protein for the day but I also feel hungry in between meals. I didn't know if 2 weeks out was too early for a fill. I also have an appointment scheduled for 6weeks post op, so I didn't know if I would be filled tomorrow or at the later appointment.
