  1. Yeah I get that there will be stalls. Just didn't think it happened this early!
  2. Hi! Ok. So I am freaking out a little. I am 16 days post op. I weigh myself every morning ( I know it's a bit obsessive). I was doing really well with the weight loss, had lost 22 lbs in the first 12 days after surgery then it just stopped! I am on the puréed phase and not eating much at all, mostly still drinking and mostly water at that, but somehow I have gained 1.5 lbs back not the last 4 days!, how is this possible?? Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal to fluctuate this early? Will I start going in the other direction again?
  3. I will be following this! I am 8 days post op and still having pain every time I drink something. Wondering if it is normal and when it will go away! I hope that your pain subsides quickly and you are able to travel for momma's day! And congratulations!
  4. I am so sorry that you are going through that, and I completely understand. I have chosen, the opposite. I tell everyone. If they choose not to support you in this journey then that is their problem. This is a decision that you made for yourself. To better yourself. In this instance it is totally ok to be selfish. I continue to tell myself that everyday and ignore those who cannot stand by me in this journey. You will have anxieties and stuggles along this path because that is what is humanly normal. Don't allow others to add to those feelings. One day, when you look back at the overweight, not so healthy, sometimes insecure life that you are living now (at least I am)- you will be grateful you made this decision. Those who are unable to be happy for you now will have nothing to say then. Good luck!!
