  1. Erin, hang on in there, things will get better I don't eat dairy products and I nearly went mad for the first 4 weeks on a liquid diet. Now I am on soft food things are getting better all the time. We all have to re-educate ourselves to eat small and very slowly, but in the end we will be in control instead of food controlling us.
  2. I think that you just keep going eating good food, I am going to try and stop weighing myself every day as its a bad habit to get into.
  3. I am 6weeks post op and my weight has slowed down to about 1 pound a week, this seems very slow after the first 4 weeks post op. Lost a lot of weight while on the liquid diet but very slow now, has anyone else hadthe experience?
  4. Take it easy, I am 3 weeks post op and as each week goes by I have been feeling better. My advice is give yourself time to recover it will take a little time, take one day at a time, all the best.

  14. Hi there, Rosa here, thank you for all your good wishes. Had my op on Sunday all went well. Came home today feel a bit sorry for myself, sore tummy, and do not fancy any fluids at all, so having to force myself. Hot Drinks and much better than cold drinks. The best thing I bought was the heated pad this really does help with the pain.

  16. 24 hours to before going into hospital for my operation about 11am tomorrow. Not too nervous I think I could have trouble sleeping tonight. Also very excited looking on this as a new start for the rest of my life, a chance to get my eating under control.
