Other than that I've been okay. I'm getting all my liquids and proteins in. I've lost 10lbs since Tuesday. I've only had to take 1 pain pill since being released from the hospital. I don't like the way they make me feel. I'm just behind on my walking. I literally have to crouch when I walk because of the pulling and tightness.

I was recently sleeved on July 1st and I wanted to know if it's normal to still have so much pain on my left side. When I stand up it feels like it's pulling. It's also swollen and I have a lump. I haven't been able to walk that much because the longer I'm up the tighter it gets.

Day 4: How many or how many ounces of protein shakes are you drinking? My book says 3 a day but that seems like a lot. What are you guys doing?

I'm starving! I'm so tired of this liquid diet. Has anyone started creamed soups or yogurt yet?

I can't believe by this time tomorrow we'll be in recovery! I'm super nervous! Hey does anyone know when we'll be able to drive after the surgery?

I cried yesterday on the way home from Sam's Club. I'm sure it's normal as we have so many emotions going through us right now! 2 more days!! Starting my clear diet today! Before you know it we'll be on the "Post side"!

At my pre-op appt. and the doctor is running 2 hours behind! I did complete the hospital admissions paperwork and I'm all set for Tuesday! Just waiting on the dr. now....

I'm Scheduled for July 1st as well! I'm hating this preop diet! It's so hard to cook for my family and not be able to eat any of it! I wish the day would get here already!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm a little nervous as I only found out about it while looking over some of my paperwork. My pre-op appt. with my doctor is Thursday, 6/26 and hopefully he'll explain exactly what it is and what needs to be done. I don't want it to set back my surgery.
