i am going to Dr Hoehn for a gastric sleeve also. Hopefully will get my surgery around the middle/end of July if approval from insurance goes as planned. I'm in Wichita so I am making frequent trips to KC for my appts with the dietician. Next month I will see the psychologist and dietician the same afternoon.. I wanted to make sure that everything was done right so the drive is worth the effort. I felt comfortable with him. I really liked the dietician as well. Case Manager is growing on me. We'll see how smoothly the process goes and then i'll decide :-)

I've been following posts on this site for a while now and I finally went today for my consultation with the surgeon. This is such a long process so I am only in the beginning stages............Biggest issue is insurance approval...........bmi is high enough now but not for the past 2 years.........and I'm borderline on all of my comorbids...............hopefully all combined will shoot me over the top........if not.........i'll cash pay. Thanks in advance for all of the advice and the wonderful success stories that keep me motivated!!
