  1. Hi Angiem I couldn't get the protein down in the beginning. I was already doing Oh Yeah shakes prior to surgery with no problems. After surgery I lost my taste for them. I read in one of these forums about a whey protein called Nectar. Someone wrote about the Double Stuffed Cookie...it's AWESOME! I really like this forum because we are diverse but we are on the same journey. I also stopped losing once I got on puree, but I'm keeping in mind that it will come off and I will feel and look better. Actually I started losing some inches and I stopped getting on the scale everday...lol! Good luck on your journey. We all have a fresh start. ..woohoo!

  5. Had my surgery on 3/4 and I'm hanging in there. I'm trying to find unflavored protein powder that doesn't have tree nuts in the allergen section. I used to like the protein shakes, but post surgery they don't taste the same and they are harder to get down. It will get better...I'm counting on it!

  13. I'm so glad that I found this. Today I felt like I was going to pass out. I was fine when I showered and shortly afterwards I felt like I was going to pass out. Once I rested, I got up and drank some G2. I thought my electrolytes were down. I did feel a little better but it scares me. Thanks for the posts. I'm getting ready to take my B12 to see if it helps too. Somedays my arms and shoulders feel so weak. Does anyone else have that problem?
  14. You look fabulous. What a transformation!
  15. It'll get better I'm 7 days out. I'm still struggling with getting my water down still. I just keep a bottle with me everywhere I go. I got really dry two days ago and it wasn't nice. It was like I had a difficulty talking. Now I can't get totally comfortable sitting. It helped to read the text about the heating pad. Welcome to the journey!
