I just went on a beach vacation last week and I'm 3 months out, honestly I enjoyed myself. I drank alcohol, took it nice and slow...1 drink lasted a while. I ate whatever I wanted, a bite this or that, and shared a lot of meals with my husband or kids. Enjoy yourself!!! You've been through alot in the past weeks!!!

Hahah worth it?? So they say...I can't wait to be off this stupid full liquid diet, I need to eat! My job is not so flexible, so it's going to be rough, but I will get through it!! I may have to go sleep in my car on my lunch hour!! LOL!

CrazyJaney I am 12 days post op and feeling the same way..EXHAUSTED!! I told my dr and he said get used to it, it will take 3 months to get your energy back! I am also going back to work tomorrow and I know it's going to a long hard day! I will be in bed by 6 lol good luck!

I will so be doing that in a few weeks!!! Great idea!!! Tonight I order soup and drank the broth while everyone else ate their pizza!!

I felt and still feel that way..pain was awful, I'm starving and fully regret doing the surgery at this point, my surgery was March 11th. I hope it gets better cause right now I'm so mad and upset with myself!

I had my lap band revision to sleeve surgery March 11th and I'm so dying for real food!! Every single Friday night for the past 22 years we order pizza, and I've been ok with it, but today I'm really wanting to just lick a slice or something!! I hate these protein shakes and this full liquid diet!! Can't wait to eat some mushy food!!! UGH!! Why did I do this to myself????

Nepagirl your pre-op diet sounds like heaven compared to my 4 gross shakes a day made with water!! Had to buy the gross shakes from the drs office and clear liquids only..it's been the hardest 8 days of my life. I wouldn't "try" a pre-op diet, I'd only do it if my dr makes me lol can't wait till Tuesday for surgery!

I feel the same way, I love nothing more then going out to dinner with my family, or having a family BBQ. But after reading everything on here and other sites, and talking with my doctor, I'm sure I will be able to still enjoy all those things, in due time..and I'm gonna look good doing it!!! My surgery is Tuesday..good luck to you!!

Woke up today and feeling like I'm getting a head cold, my surgery is Tuesday, March 11th, any suggestions on how to get rid of this cold fast????
