Hi i did the surgery on aug 2008 and i lost 18 lbs. And then the doctor told me i had to keep going back and forth with liquid diet and daily exercise. And really i always hungry, and if i workout and diet i loose.. But really im not happy... And eat a lot salad proteins.

To tell you the truth i am so unhappy with the lapband,, this is the worse mistake i ever done in my whole life... I lost 18 lbs and that it and that was when i eas on liquid diet... And anybody doing a liquid diet would loose that with having this bullet in your belly. And every time i go get a fill, the doctor says go back to liquid diet and i promise youll loose weight,, and i just hate that...cause if i can do that i dont need the lapband.. I had lapband done cause i could not loose the weight on my own. Im so up set...

dont worry about that. i have the same feeling it feels like a huge bullet under the skinn.. and i have friends also with little results and big bullet feeling under skinn. im very sad with this... it was not worth it.....

i gotten 5 fills and i have not lost almost anything.. my doc says to go into the liquid diet but if anybody does that they loose with out having this bullet feeling under your skin...i very sad with results.. my cousin had the gastric bypass and he was size 44 in dec when he had surgery today only six months past hes in a size 30,, i couldnt recognize him... and i see that i went through all this pain and the results are minimum.

im very upset, i had lapband done 8/07 and i hardly have lost. my doc says to go into the liquid diet, but if i would of done that before i wouldnt have neede this bullet feeling in my stomach..

i dont understand, but im dissappointed with the lapband.. i have not lost much and i had surgery aug 2007.. my doctor just tells me to go on liquid diet, if i did that before i would of lost without have to install this bullet into my stomach...

Ok I Have The Same Pain And My Doctor Says He Has Not Heard Anybody Complaining About That Type Of Pain, Does It Happen After You Eat Or Drink.

actually dietitian says no broccolly or vegetables at the begining

my doctor said the same thing , and thats to adapt your stomach, is not that you are going to die if you eat.. try to eat less quantities and walk. and try to drink lots of soups so you dont go hungry

my doctor says to stick with the liquid diet, but its easy for him to say, but any body would lose weight that way..
