  5. I'm excited for this new chapter in my life and also a little sad because I know it will be a long time before I get to really smash some bomb ass food!! Lol. Oh, well I guess I should be more focused on the actual surgery right? Well, I'm not really nervous, more emotional in a happy sense. My family will be right by my side and I chose a great surgeon. I have full faith in my nursing team and also in GOD so I know I will be alright. I would like to follow you guys progress & also find some sleeve buddies for support vice versa. If anyone is on IG, drop your @ name so I can follow you & we can go through this journey together! Wooooohooooo!!!!
  6. When you're hungry, it doesn't matter if you like the food or not, you are going want to eat SOMETHING LOL! It's not easy. I don't even really liked the stuff I just named but when your body in starvation mode, you can react. But I get it lol
  7. I'm on Day 3/10 of my pre-op liquid diet. And for the most part I'm following orders. Drinking my protein shakes & stuff. But in the afternoon, it's rough. So Day 1 I had a hand full of mini pretzel crackers. Day 2 I had a chicken strip and a teaspoon of cooked vegetables (I was preparing my kids dinner) I tried my hardest to not try it. I took one bite then turned into a craving monster. One bite turned into me eating the whole chicken strip (it was small, but STILL) and today.. Day 3.. I was doing good then I just had to have a hand full of potato chips. Damn it!!! Am I ruined now? Has anyone else had this issue? How did you overcome it? I plan to get on track tomorrow but honestly I can't stop the small slip ups. I know the day before surgery I will absolutely starve if I need to. But all these days prior.. are really tough. I didn't go crazy though, just a small slip up.. I'm still getting my liquids in.

  12. Hi guys, I haven't gotten the surgery yet, I'll be getting the sleeve, but I been feeling really insecure about my current weight. I'm 5'8 270 lbs. I got on the scale today to see if I lost weight & I actually gained 10 lbs [emoji20] It's really effecting my mood and my dating life. I'm losing interest in doing just anything. I don't even like leaving the house unless I have to. Has anyone else gone through this? I know I'm getting surgery soon, but not soon enough, so I know I will lose the weight anyways.. but I'm finding it hard to cope with myself the way I am now. If anyone has suggestions, helpful resources or advice they can share it will be well appreciated. Thank you Btw, I'm the one in the black shirt. Just took this on my 26th birthday. Maybe next year I won't be so insecure [emoji4]
