Hi TenderTummy - who was your doctor at Mi Doctor? I'm going Friday 4/11 and would like to know as much as possible. How many days did you have your drain in? How was your pain level? Were you nervous? Any extra fees? Thanks!!!

I'm not telling anyone other than my husband and son. I am very private person and certainly don't want to tell those overly nosey gossiping vultures at my office. Government job and all they do is talk talk talk (just like most places) about each other behind their backs and about every little thing. Plus I don't want anyone's opinion or trying to change my mind, this decision has taken me years to finally do so it's my personal business!

I start the liquid diet on the 4th also...my surgery is the 11th. Weird thing - I have no appetite (last 5 days), and I was planning my food funerals!

Two weeks from today...April 11th...yikes! I am so scared.

I just decided to keep very busy during this 2 weeks and I know my family will understand. My husband and son are in to bodybuilding and they have warned me about the first few days. I am determined to stay positive. I wish you the best! I am going to make the same promise, I AM GOING TO STAY POSITIVE!!!

American doctors screw up surgeries, just like any other doctor. We've all heard the horror stories on 60 minutes, 20/20, etc. You either get a good person or not, period. Again, this is not on Mexico Bariatric Center - this is on the doctor that you did eventually decide to go with...Google him, there are a lot of negative reviews.
