  1. HI, I'm Traci and was banded in Mexico on 8-9-07 by Dr. Rodriguez. Everything seems to be going very well, except some concern about a hard spot in between my bra line incision and my port incision. The patient cordinator says that it is a seroma and that as long as I'm not running a fever or the spot is red, that I should not be concerned. Has anyone else had a seroma, if so how long does it take to go away, was there anything that you did to help it go away sooner. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    I'm new too!

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so I just drove down to San Antonio with my husband and daughter, then went into Mexico by myself. Pain was not that bad, they give you pain medication to take for several days, which I found very helpful. I think the pain will just depend on your tolerance. Good luck with everything...I think that Dr. Rod and his staff were great and am very pleased with my decision. Traci

Hi, I was banded in Mexico by Dr. Rodriguez in Acuna on 8-9-07. He had a wonderful staff and everything is going well. I met the patient cordinator in San Antonio and was transported into Mexico the following day. Let me know if you need any additional information. Traci banded 8-9-07, down 18lbs
