  1. CW 168. Lost the pound I gained last week!
  2. @@Eclectick, yes ma'am.
  3. Sorry guys for the confusion. I've lost 47lbs since May 2nd. Went from a size 20 to a size 10.
  4. Went from a 40D to a 38B. Kind of sad..:-( My butt has never been "in the mix" so I'm not really missing what I never had. U do love that I was a size 20 and now I'm a size 10. If I had to choose again, I would do it again in heart beat! I ADORE the new me!
  5. Yay! Lost a pound! 168 this morning.
  6. No change but no gain. CW 169.
  7. I want in. CW 169. GW 158.
  8. My pcp prescribed a monthly injection. It has made a world of difference in my energy levels.
  9. Surgery was May 2nd. Down 45lbs. Surprised how quickly I felt like myself. I adore the new me!
  10. I live north of Pittsburgh but work in Greentree. I may be interested.
  11. 3 months out and 45 pounds down. So happy with my loss. Feel 100% better. Was on 5 different bp meds. Down to 2.
  12. My surgeon would not operate until I quit. Haven't had a cigarette since December 13th. Quit cold turkey. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. But I haven't had a cig since. I want one every day but I agree with making a change. Won't go back. Good luck to you.
  13. Sleeved May 2nd. SW 215 CW 180. I love living life. Two BP meds gone. So much more energy. I wouldn't trade this feeling for anything.
  14. Congratulations. Welcome to the losers bench!
  15. That's not really a lie. You are eating differently and exercising. Frame your success however you would like. WLS is a tool that you have. It is not the end all to be all. Congratulations on your success!
  16. I was sleeved on May 1st. Lost 30 lbs and have been stalled for several weeks. My doctor told me the same thing. Put the scale away and weigh in a month. It can be very discouraging after such a great beginning, but remember this is a marathon not a sprint. Good luck!
  17. I may depend on your surgeon, if you've had previous laparoscopic surgeries, etc... I have five incisions and had a laparoscopic procedure several years ago. Due to some scar tissue, my surgeon needed to do 5. I will say that each day DOES get better. I had my surgery May 1st and other than some tenderness at the incision sites I'm doing well. No HUNGER! You will do fine.
  18. Have you started journaling everything you eat? Writing it down can sometimes help you figure it out. How much exercise are you doing?
  19. Broth has definitely helped. Had my surgery May 1st. Still a little sore but no hunger. Feeling like this was the best gift I could ever give myself.
  20. I had my surgery on Thursday, May 1st. Came home yesterday. No one can really prepare you for those first 24 hours. I don't remember much but what I will say is day 2 was better than day one and each day I am reminded that this was the best thing I could of done for myself. I've been on water, sf popsicles, and broth. Haven't really felt hungry at all. Tomorrow my doctor is letting me start protein shakes. Woohoo! I want to thank you all for the encouragement I've received here and I look forward to continuing on this life changing journey.
