  1. Thanks Holly for putting the October list together. My username is Sadie640 - name is Sandy. Thanks.
  2. My surgery is over for me. I had it 10/10/07 and all went well. I was overnight in the hospital and now on 3 days of clear liquids. So far that is going fine, although, I am ready to add full liquids Sunday and can hardly wait. I am just a bit sore, but of course that will go away. I hope Carrott and Arkie are doing good. Let me know... take care.
  3. Thank you everyone. Good luck Arkie, Carrott. We will have to stay in touch and see how we did. Take care..... Sadie640
  4. I am one day out from having surgery on 10/10/07. I just had my pre-op this morning and all went good. When I got weighed today, I am 10# down from 9/11/07, last time I was weighed. So that is a good start before surgery, but I am still nervous, anxious and excited. Will keep in touch..... take care!
  5. Hello ....... I just found out this week after having to have my insurance deny it once, that I am approved and scheduled for surgery 10/10/07. I must say, I am scared and pleased all at the same time. My biggest problem right now is figuring out liquids to drink before and after surgery with protein. Does anyone have some ideas on good drinks, blender receipes they could please share? It seems the drinks I have bought like Carnation Instant Breakfast doesn't taste good to me. Did anyone make their own drinks to include good protein that has a decent taste? :help: Good luck to all of you scheduled in October. Take care... God Bless...:huggie:
