  1. I had surgery 4 months ago and have lost 70 pounds. My doctor has taken me off all of my medication and so far I'm doing great!! All of my symptoms are gone, major lifesaver!!
  2. I don't have advice on the boobs.... But I just wanted to say that I'm from San Antonio too! Haven't seen many people on here from Texas. good luck on your surgery!!
  3. I had my sleeve on 2/3/14 and I get this same pain. It feels like I've got a running cramp. It goes away when I lie down, but comes back as soon as I get it. It gets worse when I bend over. Idk what it is, but I'm glad I'm not the only one!
  4. Thanks for the encouragement guys, I'm feeling much better now. I'm so glad we have a place like this to vent where other people understand.
  5. I am 3 weeks post op today, I had my sleeve on 2/3/14 and I just left my doctors office from a follow up appointment. He basically accused me of not following my post op diet because I have only lost 13 pounds. He said that "wasn't very significant" and that I should try not to be "slipping up" on my diet. I have worked so hard to follow my pre and post op diet to a T!! I have not cheated even a little bit, I have done everything that he has told me to do. It makes me really not want to try so hard, or see him again. I guess I am just losing slower than others, but 13 pounds is 13 pounds and I WAS proud of myself until I left his office.
  6. I got sleeved on 2/3/14 and I'm starting to get a little worried after reading everyone's posts that were sleeved at a similar time. I am having no problems getting fluids down. My doctor has me on a clear liquid diet (plus protien shakes only) for 3 weeks. I am able to drink about 8oz at a time very easily. I am able to tell when I am full, but I'm concerned that I can take so much at a time. Most people are talking about only drinking 1-3 oz. should I call my surgeon? I'm worried.
  7. You guys are so lucky! I also had my surgery on 2/3 and my doctor has me on clear liquids for 3 whole weeks!!
  8. Hi, I was also sleeved on February 3 and am also experiencing a lot of bloating and gas pains. I am doing a lot of walking, but it has not helped too much yet. I follow up with my surgeon on Wednesday so hopefully he can give me some tips.
  9. Hi, I am new to this site. I was sleeved on February 3 also. I am feeling pretty great! It's nice to read other peoples updates that had surgery on the same day.
