  5. Last night I was in pain under my left breast. I went to bed and woke up this morning with the same pain. I called the Dr but waiting for a call back. Anyone have any clue why I am in pain? Its dull and severe when I am up walking around, not bad while lyingdown.
  6. Hey all, its been what a month lol...sleeved 2/13. Highest weight 256. Date of surgery 232 and today I am 212. 20 lbs down since surgery. I am working out everyday about 3.5 miles a day of running on the treadmill and elliptical. Water intake is good but still working on 64 oz a day, getting about 48. I hope all you Feb sleeveers are doing great! The journey is amazing so far!!
  7. Thanks. I did kinda over do it yesterday...resting a lot today. The vival is called New Whey Liquid Protein.
  8. Im using a liquid whey protein that is packed with protein 42 grams In only 3.8 oz of liquid. I just drink a lil over an oz every few hours. They aren't expensive each vival is about $2.50 and I found them at Wal-Mart. They have two flavors that I know of acai berry and watermelon. I was gonna check GNC to see if they have them as well. And they are no fat, no sugar and no carbs.
  9. Thanks! I didn't think I'd feel this good. I was worried, but its amazing. How many days post op are you now?
  10. Hi all, I am three days post op and feeling great. I am still a little sore around my chest and tummy and incisions. I am doing great with fluid intake. Probably because my husband stays on me lol. I found a 3.8 oz protein drink that has 42g of protein in the whole thing. So I break it up and sip it though out the day on top of my protein shakes. I would say im getting about 50-60 grams a day. I had a hard time with nausea and found peppermint tea to help and the warm fluid feels alot better than cold. I walked alot yesterday going shopping with my family since my birthday is on Monday. I am surprised how amazing I feel. I have a hard time getting up and down but it has a lot to do with soreness and I haven't had a bowel movement yet but one step at a time. I weighed in on surgery day @ 232 and as of this morning I weigh 227...I am so excited for whats in store for me. I am so ready for a healthy me!!! Not going to lie though I would really like not to be on liquids anymore but I am following drs orders to the tee. I hope everyone is doing good. And congratulations on your new journey, I dont regret this for a second.

  17. Well it almost four in the morning here. Had surgery at 9 am yesterday morning and other than some nausea (which is being controlled by some really hot peppermint tea) and pain in the deep incision site, I cant believe how good I am really feeling. My Dr says I dont have to do a leak test at and just need to get in enough fluids after iv is removed then I can go home. Hopefully this after noon. Thanks for the many prayers. I cant believe my journey is starting.Moving to the losers bench.
