  1. I appreciate everyone's replies and insight! As for the acid reflux, I only get it if I eat certain things, so I've been staying away from those things. When I do get it, it's vicious. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  3. I'm feeling so discouraged after meeting with my doc today. She said that since I tested positive for H.pylori and have a history of acid reflux, the surgeon will probably not ok me for the sleeve and will have to do the bypass instead. I don't wanna do the bypass. Had anyone else been told this as well? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. Wow! Thank you, everyone for all the info your shared! It seems that every situation is different. I have 3 kids who need to be driven all over for sports and school. I think if someone could just handle that, I should be ok? lol Thank you again! ️ Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

  9. Wow! That's awesome you were able to be up and about on your own! The program I'm in suggests that you have a "support person" to help you with recovery.
  10. I'm wondering how long would you normally need your support person with you after surgery, or what did your doc suggest? I'm trying to figure out how long my support person will need to take off of work. Thank you Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
