  3. My surgery was January 20, 2014. I was 375 lbs. I was sore a little when I woke up, but nothing bad at all. I stayed overnight at the hospital. I was given ice chips, broth, hot tea, and a popsicle. I didn't drink much of it at all, but that's ok since you are getting Fluid through IV as well. I went home late the next morning. As of this morning, I'm already at 360lbs and no pain from normal tasks.
