Today I start my pre op diet. Starting wieght 276ish.

I decided less then 3 weeks ago that I would have surgery to help cure me of this disease, disorder, condition, disfunction...whatever this burden is, I want to be done with it. I have tried it all, as have we all! I can lose, I just can't keep it gone. I am 52 years old and my knees ache, my hips ache, my feet ache, my back hurts. I am terrified of causing permanent damage to my joints that would require surgery to fix-maybe. So when I learned about the sleeve from my neighbor who admitted that she was going to have the surgery and then immeaditly asked if I would do it too, I said absolutely! Wait, did I just say that!!! Am I really going to do that to my body? Yup! I totally freaked myself out! So I told my husband...He said, "Why are you going to do something so unnatural?" I asked him "Why did you have surgery on your shoulders to fix them?" It is that simple for me, I have something "wrong" with me and I am going to get some help with getting it fixed, permanently! So here I go, I must withdraw from caffine, sugar, and wheat! The next couple of days are going to be torture. Let it begin!
