  1. I have been told that from loseing and gaining so many times over the years that the skin doesn't go back after awhile and age has a lot to do with it. I have the same problem I need surgery.
  2. Hey there Sometimes it doesn't matter if you lose it slowly. It's taken 18 months for me to lose 95lbs and I need surgery on my arms and my stomach. When you hit a certian age skin doesn't go back to where it came from. but I would rather have that then be unhealthy again. You need to find a lap-band support group I am suprise that your clinic doesn't have one just for lap-band mine does in WI. Ask your doctor.
  3. My primary doctor did write me a letter i did no good but the doctor for lap-band did and I got approved. Some insurance don't cover. My insurance didn't but my husbands did. Don't give up.
  4. it's taken 18 months but well worth the rest of my life.

  6. It's a different feeling at least for me. Everyone is different so they tell me. For me I get a upset stomach. Best wishes for your lap band. I don't regret getting mine it's been 18 months and I have lost 90lbs.
  7. Don't wait I can call my doctor any time and get in to get a fill. He is very good about that.
