  1. Yeah. I've been out everyday since 2 days after coming home from the hospital. I just twisted or did something. The nurse said its easy it do. Thankfully I was still camping out on my couch, so it looks like I'll still be there! Ha. And until today, Ive had very little pain and was doing really well healing. Uggggg. I have a couple internal and one external stitches on the left 2 incisions, the other 3 or 4 of them were glued shut. My belly is also itch as heck. The incisions and just my skin from my binder.
  2. And as of now, being a bump on a log on my couch doesn't hurt one bit. It's standing up and walking that do me in. Gravity pulling on it is a real b!tch. Haha
  3. I'm not even sure what I did. Hah. I just either stepped wrong or turned wrong. But holy hell did it hurt! I'm actually in school for nursing, and this week has been my spring break. So I purposely scheduled surgery the day before break started for me, so I'd have as long as I could to recover. I have to go back Monday. Which was totally 100% fine, until I did whatever I did today. I could have gone back to class any time this week, really. Hopefully if I take it easy this weekend, I'll be fine to go to class Monday.
  4. 9 Days. It's ok! I learned my lesson.
  5. The good thing to come out of today is that I lost another 3 pounds! So down 29 total, 13 since monday. Holy crap.
  6. Glad you're doing well! How come they couldn't do it laproscopicly?
  7. Yup. Exactly how I felt. The pain meds (I took 20 ml even though the dose is supposed to be 15ml) have kicked in, and I don't care about a whole lot right now. Hahaha. I'm just afraid of what I'll feel like when they wear off. It hurt to even breathe. My poor dad was outside waiting to take me to my car. I called him inside, and basically cried and said fukk a lot. Haha. He felt so helpless. So did I though. Oh well. I'm just glad I did it now and not next week when I HAVE to go to school.
  8. Stupid phone. Or pain meds. Or both. Haha.
  9. Girls. I learned a valuable lesson today. Be kind to your abdomen. Baby it. For a long time. Cause one day, you might be putting on your boot, and then be in level 2000 pain. And you'll call your doc and talk to a nurse. She will then tell you it sounds like you probably pulled/ripped apart the muscles that are starting to heal and grow back together. And she'll ask you how bad the pain is, and your response will be: it hurts to even live right now. Holy. Sh!t. I wasn't even in this much pain after surgery. I can't move and it hurts to breathe. Back to pain meds and at some point when I can move, the couch. Uggggg. I was gonna finally drive today!
  10. I have. I've tried Bariatric fusion and unjury. Both clump when in warm liquids. Doesn't matter how much I stir or shake, the clumps just don't go away.
  11. Is it literally just Protein powder and peanut butter? Cause this sounds good, and an easy way to get protein!
  12. It may not chemically change, but above 140° and it turns into a clumpy disgusting mess.
  13. Well, not totally. I got up and grabbed a pudding cup too. We just got chocolate wasted 1000 (or however many miles apart we are) apart.
  14. I just wanna give you your big of hug! I wish we lived closer, I'd come over and we could get chocolate wasted on a whole 3 bites of pudding. (I hope that at least gave you a chuckle. )
  15. Not that it's the same, but I'm 9 days out and started crying today because my doctor (my family doc) didn't have any open appointments today to look at the rash I've had since surgery. Like, hung up the phone and cried like a baby. You're only 2 days out. All the meds in your system.... Just let yourself cry it out. It will get better. Everyday has gotten better for me. Gas has gone away, and the pain gets less everyday. And it gets easier to get up/down/around. I promise.
  16. I love the concentrate drinks. However the Soups are disgusting. I haven't tried the cocoa yet, or anything else. Tropical, kiwi melon, and peach mango are my favorite flavors so far... The only one I've had that was horrible was the orange.
  17. I'm down 26 pounds since I started the liquid diet on the 5th!! 10 of those pounds have come off me since monday. I can't believe it! All the pain and inconvenience of this surgery has been 10000% worth it! It's only going to get better from here on out. We're all gonna be some hot beotches this summer!
  18. If you have any kind of medical in home type place (usually in or near a hospital) you could probably buy one. Though, I did order a couple shape wear tank tops to see how I like them.
  19. So my super awesome parting gifts from surgery apart from losing 10 pounds since Monday (holy sh!t!!!!!) is a nice yeast infection, and lovely rash that won't quit from my binder. Thankfully the yeast infection doesn't itch, and the rash isn't awful, it's just not going away. I also went out today without my binder on. Walking around was just fine. Sitting in the car, not so much. I had to recline my seat to low rider status, and then it wasn't so awful.
  20. Have you called your doc about not being able to get hardly any nutrition or fluids in?? You really should! You don't want your body to shut down while it's trying yo heal from this surgery. <3 you girl! But somethings gotta give, and it shouldn't be your health.
  21. Yup. But they will lessen over time. I still get them occasionally, but not nearly as bad or as often. I'm only 9 days out, and they've lessened a bunch.
  22. Yeah, today was a great jammies day. I my dvr has been really full (I pretty much slept all weekend due to the pain meds and been out doing stuff Monday and yesterday) so it's been nice to clear it off to make room for more stuff. Haha. I'm glad to hear it's going easy for you too!
  23. I'm only 8 days out, but it's the same for me. Stinky, and sticks to the toilet when it isn't liquid with sand like sediment in it. I've really only had 2 poops that have had enough substance to stick to the toilet. But man if it doesn't stink bad/weird.
  24. I'm doing great! Today was the first day since Sunday that I had a real lazy day, and only just showered at 8 30 pm. Haha. But it's been a lot easier than I anticipated. Hope everyone is as lucky as me and having it as easy.
  25. I'm 8 days out, and I drank a protein drink (8 ounces) in about a half hour 45 min today. I also drank maybe a quarter of a 32 ounce bottle of gaterade in a few minutes last night. It was like overnight that I can get a bit more liquids in faster. I can't guzzle, but I can definitely drink water/gaterade almost like I could before surgery. I've been freaking out about it the last 24 hours, but from all the frantic searching I've done, it's normal.
