Hi Rose, Patricia here, I noticed that your from Pickering. I live in Markham, we're practically neighbours. When did you get your band put in? I had mine in on the 10th of August and I'm going for my first fill on Monday, Sept 24. I couldn't make the dinner and was sorry not to have met everyone.

Does everyone burp alot? I find now I burp more than I ever have and I'm not even on solids yet.

I agree with you there about going to TLBC for your fills....we did pay for sure. My doctor didn't seem to keen on doing the fills anyway. That's great that you managed to drive there all by yourself..I'm envious as I'm too nervous and take the subway from Scarborough Town Center. It's pretty good really and takes me right to the door at the George St. stop.

Hi Lisa, I was pretty bruised as well when I came out of surgery. The bruises disappeared in about two weeks. So you should see some change soon.

Hi Shelby, Sorry to hear that your in so much pain. When do you see your doctor again? Silly question but have you been able to go to the washroom? I ask because that could cause your discomfort.

Hi Shelby. I had port pain and it lasted about 1 week and then subsided. Where is your port located? Mine is near my belly button on the left side.

Hi Beau Yes all is going really well and so far I've lost 23 pounds. I'm really exited about the future.

Why is it because your afraid of the surgery or the change it will make in your life?
