  7. O wow. It seems like we have all the same issues and still dealing with problems. Yea I lost mouth of my teeth at 34 yrs old and have dentures now. Get sick all the tine due to lowered immune. Major bone issues. Just had back surgery in October and had multiple surgeries due to problems with rny. Have issue with pain and getting sick when eating with no reaons why and not due to what I'm eating. I'd live to see what else we can talk about. Ik this sounds awful but I'm so happy to talk to people with issues like me after I was told that um an odd case and not the norm post op.

  9. I'm a 8 year veteran and have been there and still struggle with some things. I'd be happy to talk to you to let you know Its possible and your fine. We all hit bumps in the road and it will continue you just have to not beat up on yourself which will make it worse. Trust me. Lol. Also as time passes you will learn what works best for you. Also I bounce 10 lbs either up or down all the time but I've learned its normal and a lot of post ops deal with this. Hang in there. It will get better.
  10. I'm an 8 year veteran of rny and would love to discuss if anybody has particular issues with eating? Also will answer anybody's questions.
  11. Greeneyes I'm glae you might have found the answer to your hair issue. That would be fantastic if that is such an easy fix!!! Good luck.
  12. Unfortunately there is a lot of things you dont find out about til afterwards. Good luck in your surgery.
  13. I gained weight since surgery but nothing to scare me. At one time I was way to skinny and caused other issues. I'm comfortable in my skin now and healthier. I will definitely support you anyway I can. I've a lot of issues since my initial surgery. I've been trying to find anybody else with this history also.
  14. I am 8 years out and if I don't keep my hsir short it looks like I've stuck my finger into an electrical socket. I've noticed a lot of changes with my body since surgery.
  15. I am also a veteran. I had surgery in 2006. I have had an extremely rough road with this surgery also. From hernias, teeth issues, bone issues, eating issues still and chronic illnesses. I would love to talk to somebody out there also with issues to see if common. I've lost all the weight and now after all these years ha e finally come to a good weight. Was to skinny due to chronic illnesses and surgeries. Have had a really had times with medications also. Any others out there?
