  1. Hi Everyone, I appreciate all of the feedback. I think I'll get another fill and work out more. Eat some grapes (nothing really dry) and really slow down when I eat. But I'll still have that glass of milk or two once in a while. Soontobeskinny
  2. I was banded last July, 24, 07 and have lost over 41 pounds. The first 30 were pretty fast. I've had 4 fills and felt that was about what I needed. However, the weight is not dropping as fast as I want it to. I'm pretty good about my diet but I do have the occasional burger or a few slices of pizza and a beer. I've also scared myself a few times when the food got stuck. yeck! I've always been one to drink something (usually water) when i eat. I know this washes some of the food past the pouch but this is even a tougher habit to change than the eating part. Any suggestions or comments? I really want to get to my goal weight of 185 (I started at 265 when I was banded). I'm so happy about what I've lost but I'm thinking my brain may be sabotaging my body and my goal. THanks for being here! Soontobeskinny
  3. I had my surgery on the 7th. When I woke up I was feeling very bloated in my lower belly. By the next day I was ready to explode! I ended up with an Nasal Gasto tube for two days. I pretty good now, but I'm taking in very little liquid, even Water is giving me gas that doesn't want to leave me. I feel great in the morning and drink a liquid Protein drink and by 4PM I'm bloated and almost ready to explode. Is this normal? I know I should be walking and I do in the AM but later in the day I feel too ill to walk. Not to be gross but anisthetics have hampered my digestion before and it feels that way now and not much is coming out but then there isn't much to come out. By the way, what's PB'ing? I am still excited about my new life and glad I've made this step. I just wish my big fat belly would quit swelling up with air.
