    Hi All! I'm an August Bander! I lost 10# before surgery and 15# after....I think I'm going to like being banded. I have plenty more to lose and will try my hardest to lose 100# total. Take care, Laura

    Hello: My name is Laura and I am new to this site. I have had my group orientation, consultation and have all my pre-op testing scheduled for August 16, 2007. My surgery date will be at the end of August if all tests are normal. I am a self pay and am excited about the journey and the changes that will take place. My consultation weight was 270.5 and I have tentatively set 170 as my target weight. Dr. Avara in Ocean Springs, MS will be my surgeon. I'm looking forward to journey after I am banded...
