  1. I, too, am hoping for an early September surgery. I have waited three years for this.....talked to people, researched, taken a LONG hard look at myself...and I know I am making the right choice. Only thing left for me is the Nutrition for six months.....I am planning to start eating without drinking in June.....drinking more Water now.......I have been told to 'maintain' my weight at this point to keep qualified....others would not understand why I would do this. If I can lose ten pounds why not more? My husband supports me, but he just doesn't understand why I can't just 'set my mind to lose 80 pounds' and do it! Oh how I wish it were that easy! Anyone else get this from others? What is your answer?
  2. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am tired of never feeling full. I want to feel full. I am tired of my knees hurting. I have been overweight and obese most of my life but have had energy to burn. But these last two years it has finally caught up with me. I want wls to be a tool to help get me back. I have my first appointment with doctor on 1/7/14. My.primary care is all for it. So....here i go!
