  2. Going to have my band removed and have the sleeve. I've been pretty sick so my Dr. emptied my band completely. Now I can't eat anything...only drink. Even then I become congested after I eat liquids. Anyone have any idea why? Thanks for your help.
  3. Hello...I'll be getting my band removed and having the sleeve done in Feb. I've met my goal and really don't want to loose anymore weight. Any advice?? Thank you.
  4. In answer to the above question. I have never had any type of respiratory problem in my life. Also, now I am unable to each anything solid. Struggling with liquids too and have to sip every- thing. Getting nervous.
  5. Thank you all for the input. I'm going to have to tolerate these respiratory problems till Feb 1st when my insurance becomes active. Till then....I'm very uncomfortable with major breathing issues. Just not fair. :-(

  7. Help....I had my band emptied after being in the hospital with severe asthma/respiratory problems. Going to have my band removed and hoping for a sleeve. But Dr. won't do surgery till my lungs are in better shape. Meanwhile, I'm on meds, breathing machine and suffering from asthma type symptoms. Anyone else with advice or the same problems. I can't take much more but have to wait till my insurance kicks in on Feb 1st. Ugh
  8. I too, am suffering from band problems. Coughing all night, respiratory issues, etc. It's been a mess. I had my band emptied the other day and am experiencing some relief. Hoping for continued good results. My Dr. suggested that we remove the band but I read where one lady emptied her band for a few months and then started over with good results. If I have my band removed I'll get the gastric sleeve. Anyone have any comments/reactions regarding the sleeve? Happy New Year, fellow banders.
