So sorry to hear about your experience, NICU-RN . My 2-month check up was with my surgeon, but he literally stood in the door asking how I was, not seeming to listen or even care - and rushed away as soon as I answered!! So I do understand some of your frustration.
I hope & pray you are feeling back to normal very soon!!
In the beginning, I had the STRONGEST craving for fried chicken strips!! I never indulged because I thought it would be much too hard on my stomach (sleeve), and it did pass. Now I could have them, but have no desire for them. My eyes are still bigger than my stomach and I take too much and can never finish...but for me, that's a good feeling!!
OM goodness...mourning phase!! YES!! That's exactly what it's like...my surgery was 12-30-13, and for two or three weeks after, all I could think about was all my favorite foods and question myself over why I did this!
It's passed, thank goodness, and now I feel I am in control of my eating habits for the first time in my life!!
Hang in there, this too shall pass!!
