  1. Hi All, I am a little over 4 weeks out and feeling a bit discouraged because I have a lot of nausea every morning. I feel sick to my stomach most mornings and don't want to eat. food smells and looks good but I don't want to eat because everything I eat ends up making me nauseas or leaving a bad taste in my mouth the next morning. So I end up eating less and less. I'm just so scared that this is what my life is gonna be now. Nausea and wishing I could eat. It's making me depressed. Did anyone else struggle with this? Is this what I have sentenced myself to now? Thanks for your input and encouragement!

  4. Thank you so much Redbean! That makes me feel much more relieved and hopeful. I definitely think the chewing part will help a ton. Drinking everything doesn't feel satisfying at all! Congrats on your 3 months and your successes! :) And L-in-NJ you are so right! Everyone on this site is wonderful!

  7. Thank you both for your kind words! This is such a big journey with so many ups and downs and as much as I prepared, I still feel blind sided by the feelings and urges. I will keep my head up though! L-in-NJ congrats on your new journey! I hope you're feeling well! Our one week tomorrow!
  8. Hi All, I am new to this site and am finding everything so very helpful. I am 6 days post op And generally feeling pretty good. Been on Clear Liquids and have been very tired but generally well. No vomiting, some nausea. The main trouble I'm having is the mental part. I know I'm really not "hungry" but I am HUNGRY and it's driving me bonkers. My anxiety is haywire and I just want to eat something of substance and feel satisfied and I'm feeling depressed and like I made a big mistake. I know I didn't and it's only 6 days out but how did any of you really combat any of these types of feelings? This doesn't last forever right? I won't feel deprived always? Thanks for your help and guidance all! <3 -- Mehgan (sleeved on 12/4)
