  1. Wow foster, sounds like you dropped your blood pressure. Hope everything turns out OK.
  2. How are you getting all that protein?
  3. Surgery on a Thursday - home on Saturday 'cause I couldn't keep anything down. Took Monday off and started Teleworking on Tuesday. I'm glad I did it that way because I had to take some breaks during the day (which would not have been possible in an office environment). Still teleworking as much as possible. Don't rush it and give yourself a chance to heal completely!!
  4. What's a 30 day Arm & Thigh Challenge?
  5. What kind of work outs are you all doing? Trying to get some ideas - I've never been into exercising...
  6. I think some of it has to do with their experience and comfort level. Mine used the Da Vinci robot and created 5 incisions!!
  7. I'm eleven days out and those strips seem to be GLUED on! I'll ask my doc if I can put Mederma on the scars once I get access...
  8. Can I please be added to Dec. 19th? Thx... still fighting to keep fluids down so I'm kinda punky
  9. Having great difficulty keeping things down. Anti-nausea suppository only works for a little while. Can't wait for this to settle down!!! Congratulations, how did it go?
  10. Ready to head to the hospital. I think it is finally starting to hit me (nausea)! Prayers going out to Dec. 19th sleevers and those in recovery. Save me a spot on the loosers' bench.
  11. Hey, I'm on tomorrow too. :-)
  12. Hi, I'm being sleeved tomorrow also. I don't think it's hit me yet. Hope you have a successful surgery and a speedy recovery!
  13. Dec. 19th surgery - OMG, that's TOMORROW!! Couldn't sleep even though I took something to help. Tonite - VALIUM!! Still no support from my significant other. I wonder if this surgery has broken up any relationships. Prayers welcomed!

  15. Well - The ONLY person I've told about my surgery just said to me: "You've completely wrecked our routine"! So much for support. I'm so pissed right now, I feel nauseous !!
  16. Just said a little prayer for you! Be well soon.
  17. Have you all been instructed to do a Pre-Surgery Skin Prep? What about applying Mederma post-op?
  18. Lucky - someone else asked that same question last week before her surgery. http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/290545-are-you-happy-that-you-had-the-sleeve-procedure/
  19. I think I would've asked her "so how's THAT working for you?"!
  20. Dec. 19th sleever Wondering if I can really do this. Spent Thanksgiving with family constantly pushing food. Birthday dinner 2 days ago, so I finally started the "pre-op" diet. I guess one week is better than nothing but I'm starting to see how much food controls my days! Am I putting all my "eggs in one basket"? Umm - I love eggs...
