Ditto....i have a 58oz Water bottle and the only way to use it is with a straw...i have been successfully using straws and completely forgot that i was instructed not to use them for the reasons stated above.... Shelby

Haha...no...it doesn't have to be a boy.....whatever fits its personality.....that was my criterion....:-) Everyone told me early on that the new tummy would be temperamental so i knew she was getting a name....shes actually named after the horse in the movie "beauty and the beast," - we can help you come up with a name...its fun :-) Shelby

I was told also to stay clear of those two Bariatric Centers as well....i am so sorry you are going through this and completely understand... I will say, having struggled through it personally, that infertility (unexplained) was by far still the worst thing i endured....but really what turned out to be my problem was something very simple, that if i had just listened to my RE, i would have more children.....he told me repeatedly that i needed to exercise to get "blow flow to the uterus." For some reason i just took that advice with a grain of salt.....well the one month i decided to work out 75 minutes everyday.....i got pregnant with twins....go figure....hope you are working with an OB or RE that is compassionate because its a rough journey especially combined with this one.....d@m girl! I know this is a common topic, but now I too have run in to "slow moving traffic..." Im starting out with MOM, and praying it will work... Last night Felipe (my sleeve) got upset with the slimes....for what i thought was no reason.....i did everything text book.....could it have been caused by traffic being backed up? Just curious.... Thanks! Shelby

Awesome...I feel like I can deal with and cope better with this change by accepting that my sleeve will be temperamental and that I have to completely re-learn a part of my body that i knew so well....reminds me of being pregnant with twins and not knowing what had taken over me...lol Let me know when you name yours too, Felipe needs as many friends as she can find.. 2014 is off to a great start for myself and Felipe (my sleeve).... -23lbs down since 12/7/13....... I fit into a size 16 jeans for the first time in 15 years :-)...., ****Yes Felipe....we have had our moments and will continue to grow in love in trust....but you can stay***** How is everyone else doing today???? Dear Felipe (my sleeve) Thank you for arriving on time, nearly two weeks weeks ago Tuesday.....12-17-13 I can hardly believe that it has only been a mere blink of time since the inception of our marriage and the honeymoon has yet to begin. I belive that part of the problem with our relationship is that I don't really know or understand you and you don't know a darn thing about me...although I reluctantly wanted this union, it was not without great distress, soul searching and endless research... You may think I just woke up one day and decided to drastically mutate my body for reasons that lack insight or vetting...however, you would be grossly incorrect...just as you continue your inaccurate assertions about what I want to do and your increasing un-abliging role in such. First it was the pain killer...some times you want to cooperate with me, some times you don't...it never seems to occur to you that if I need it, Im in pain...but you decide with reckless disregard, when you will take it down and when you won't...you're like a stubborn toddler that is hungry and has a cold - riding for a long car ride! Just stop it.... As for the capsule I tried to swallow yesterday....I was cleared to swallow whole pills and you need to wrap your little head around this concept also.....Grabbing the capsule and barricading it in my throat is not the answer.....Why be so difficult? To add insult to injury, today you decided again, that any form of protein intake is simply unacceptable in your eyes...what you fail to realize is that unlike my children, you came with an instruction book and a whole harem of medical professionals who dictate how its going to be...despite your best efforts to be obstinate and disagreeable... I realize as it stands our marriage is not all bad....I am down 19 lbs and for the most part we have few arguments.....I just need your assistance in meeting my liquid goals and protein intake. Please Felipe...try and be a little more hospitable to me....were married now...for life....I don't get to return you after Black Friday or downgrade to the cheaper model....the maintenance plan comes with you and I'm committed to you for eternity....please make this journey with me pleasant and I will reward you with great health, a vibrant recovery and no more additional surgeries or revisions... My hunger is GONE and I love it....I have been on clear liquids for 10 straight days (per my team) and i had less than 100 calories each day...hit all of my water goals and down 15lbs.....today was my first day on full liquids.....got in about 400 cals and 60gr of protein.....working to improve this...but no hunger whatsoever!!!!
